On May 10, 2022, join us at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ as we celebrate those who have provided support, encouragement, and so much positivity for our kids this year! Cocktails start at 6:00PM EDT. It's going to be a fun night with shared moments of our past year, as we strive toward reaching our goal of $500,000!
Tickets are priced at $500, with a table of 10 starting at $3,500 (non-sponsor level).
Leading up to the event, we will share stories, links, photos, and videos about our young people, and issue important information related to our in-person event. These messages will be filled with details including the run-of-show, our 2022 honorees, and the many ways that you can show your support prior to, during, and after the event!

Cynthia M. Banks Award for Caring Honoree
The Honorable William Sullivan is a lifelong resident of Essex County. He has served 5-terms on the Essex Fells Borough Council in addition to starting several public safety focused philanthropies. He is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist and the proud husband of Jennifer and father to Brad, Tim and Kate.
This award is a tremendous honor given annually to an outstanding individual or organization that selflessly gives time, talent and support to improve the lives of the children of BGCN. Join us as we honor this year's phenomenal recipient!
William "Jazz" Jones Award Honoree
Newark native Vaughn E. Crowe once captivated BGCN supporters many years ago after being named Youth of the Year back in 1998. The former Club kid later grew up to make quite a name for himself in the world of philanthropy and social justice, currently operating as the managing partner of Newark Venture Partners.
Vaughn will be recognized for his continuous commitment to initiatives that benefit organizations such as BGCN with the William "Jazz" Jones Award!
Youth of the Year Award Honoree
In showing leadership potential and academic excellence, this award showcases one of our youth that have excelled in their growth and development.
Per our national branch, Youth of the Year is based around involving youth in various leadership experiences, which is an important part of the program. Clubs such as BGCN have a great deal of flexibility in how they implement Youth of the Year, so specific activities and experiences may vary, but the focus is always on making sure our youth are aware of leadership abilities they might not think they possess and cultivating them so that they learn what it means to be a leader.
Katherine Santana is a high school senior at North Star Academy, and loves spending time reading, going to the park, and listening to music in her downtime. After school lets out during the week, one of her favorite things is participating in activities with the younger kids at the Club.
Genesis Parfait is a junior at Newark Collegiate Academy, and her "BGCN blue" hair isn't the only thing representing the Club! As her mother is a former BGCN youth herself, Genesis has come to learn all about what it means to Build Great Futures. Learning how to swim at the Club when she was younger, Genesis still enjoys swimming on the weekends!
